What is The Ultimate Primate?

Hello my fellow Primates! My name is Marko Rakic, and I started this website, The Ultimate Primate. The reason why I made this website is because a few years ago I decided to take a holistic approach to life as I suffered from disorders such as addiction and anxiety.

Through fitness, healthy eating and lifestyle changes I’ve managed to not only get my life to a point where I can say that I’m fit, comfortable and happy, I’ve also pushed my limits to become the ultimate version of myself. Although I’m still learning! Fitness, clean eating and mindfulness are the tools which I’ve used to take better control of my life.

Through my journey I’ve discovered that there are many nuances and misconceptions to fitness and health, because of this it has pushed me to start TheUltimatePrimate.com. I hope to spread the message that anyone can get involved in any level of fitness that they desire and that it’s never too late to start.

I realized as I started the website that I definitely can’t continue doing it on my own and therefore brought on a great team with Kelly Li writing for our Yoga, mindfulness and healthy living posts. We also have Paul Moku that will regularly post topics related to the kitchen and healthy recipes that he has created. You won’t see me posting about much else other than fitness.

However, we all have our passion and hope that we can bring about information that will help people better themselves.

We believe that we’re all in together to share information on bettering ourselves each and everyday in order to live a happy life.

What Do We Do?

Since the beginning, We’ve wanted to helped thousands of people to become happy, healthy and fit through TheUltimatePrimate.com. 

How we do this is we spend a lot of time researching the latest health and fitness trends, diets and reaching out industry experts in the field of nutrition and personal training to put together information that is easy to read and follow. We believe certain lifestyle changes are required in order to live a happy life.

Competing in my first trail marathon.

We’re not just talking smack, I live and breath fitness (Well, at least I try to!). I have just recently finished my first trail marathon so I have some experience in running, cross training, and recovery. 

I’m also now training for my first half ironman and hopes to complete a full ironman once in my life. My partners Paul and and Kelly are also busy with their own journeys around Yoga and Healthy Eating and will regularly share their tips on this website as well.

We’re basically looking to become the best version of ourselves everyday and seeking answers everywhere on how to do this. I’m sure we’re all in the same boat and all we hope to achieve is to reach out to one or two people with hopefully a helpful piece of information from our website.

Why Is The Name “The Ultimate Primate” ?

About The Ultimate PrimateWe believe in order to live a healthy and happy life there are certain requirements which need to be adhered to.  We believe that your body is a machine that needs to constantly be challenged, whether physically or mentally in order to get respect from it.

Further to this, we believe that fitness is just one part of being the ultimate version of yourself. We believe that mental health, clean eating and living a happy life is just as important. It’s all part of one big circle with lifestyle changes. 

We believe everything in life is based off ying and yang. Balance is needed everywhere.

The Ultimate Primate is whoever you believe you are at the core of your soul. but haven’t quite reached that point yet for whatever reason. The Ultimate Primate is a phrase used to start becoming the best version of yourself. Whatever your goals are. They might be fitness, they might be mindfulness, or they might just be you wanting to become a better person and change who you used to be.  By believing in yourself, and engaging with other like-minded people you too can start working at becoming better!

We also believe we’re all in it together, and by spreading information about topics that are used to  better yourself I think that we can all live a fulfilling life that isn’t held back by the thoughts of the past and the fears of tomorrow.
